First time in well over a decade I didn't have Sunday ticket.

Between Thursday's game and the five I was able to watch today and then of course MNF, that's seven games.

I admit I turned to 701, 702 to see the games but realized shit, no more of that.

I survived week 1 without Sunday ticket but I have a fear it won't be so easy going forward.

Now I did start to stream a game but the Red Zone channel was a full minute + of game time ahead of the stream so that put a squash to the stream. I could forego having the Red Zone Channel on to watch the stream but then you get the score updates anyway on the game your watching.

Had to laugh at all the Youtube final offer to save $50 commericals, Directv never had such commercials, this leads me to believe that youtube is going to take a bath financially and frankly I hope they do.

I even went so far as to bust out the Sirius broadcasts of the games I was interested. Went old school today and didn't miss a beat, but we shall see what week 2 brings forth.

Yep. Same here. I used Streameast to surf the games. It's a decent stream.

Nothing else on TV is worth paying for...LOL

Just in case someone decides to get YouTube TV my opinion of the first week of the NFL was good. YouTube TV does take some time to get use to it. For the Sunday ticket there's multi-view with 4 games but they pick the games. The nice thing is they had 2 multi-view channels with 4 different games. 2 TVs gets 8 games.

Directv Sunday ticket had two channels, one with a 4 box and the other with an 8 box channel. YT having a 4 game box is nothing ground breaking, DTV did it for years.

The RedZone is the best when you have close, down to the wire finishes. RedZone was created to satisfy NFL viewers who were unable to get satellite due to location like living in an apartment. The NFL had many complaints that not everyone could erect a satellite dish due to HOA's, their home was blocked by another structure preventing the use of a satellite or living in an apartment. Eventually Sunday Ticket had waivers so everyone could get it if they were impeded by the use of a satellite but at that point RedZone was already established. If Sunday Ticket started as a streaming app you have to wonder if there would ever be a RedZone. It certainly cuts into Sunday Ticket subscriptions.

The 8 games was nice but there times there were 9 games and needed a second TV. They didn't have multi-view when they first started many years ago. I was using 4 and 5 TVs.

Another week in the books and boy did it suck hardcore compared to week 1. Was stuck with a blowout game for 1PM games and had two games for afternoon starts.

This week I was a little smarter, I didn't put the Red Zone channel on why having the games on the lap top. There's nothing worse than watching RZC and they show a game you're watching with a score and you're 3-4 plays behind LOL.

That's the cost for watching streams and it's nearly impossible to live bet. Not that it was easy with Sunday Ticket due to the lag but streams are way way behind.

I don't know how these books get the feeds as quick as they do. One day, one day !

Holy cow what a cluster of a mess Sunday was.

Locally was shown that great game between Denver and Miami. Why they wouldn't switch to a game that was competitive sucked.

Then one game at 4PM Dallas and Arizona at least that was entertaining.

Just wondering how well YT is doing with their package? I hope they are suffering greatly. F Them.

Now on the flip side, I streamed several games so all in all streaming has helped but it sucks it's so far behind to the real game time. I still hate seeing scoring plays and it's 2 minutes in game time ahead. It beats nothing and paying for YT.
